About Communicable Disease Control Clinic

Purpose

Provides for the diagnosis, treatment, management, control and education of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV disease AND other communicable infections.

Services

  • Sexual health education including presentations in schools and the general public
  • Educate on the prevention and treatment of STIs/HIV
  • Walk-in clinic
  • Screening, testing, diagnosing and treatment of STIs/HIV
  • Pre and post-test counselling for STIs/HIV
  • Risk reduction methods
  • Referrals to appropriate services
