About Child and School Health

Purpose

To provide services for infants and children up to five years of age (preschoolers). And to promote and protect the health and wellbeing of infants, Children & Families.

Services

  • Immunisations, screenings and preventive health services
  • Referrals to other agencies or specialists
  • Growth and development assessments
  • Discussions with parents and care givers regarding problems with feeding or behaviour
  • Advice is provided on the prevention of illness and injury
  • Assist in the identification and education of children with disabilities
