About Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)


The EAP is a non-profit consortium of public and private sector employers in Bermuda who have joined together to create an organisation able to provide counselling, consulting, and support services to Member Companies and their employees, and acts as a bridge between the work force and community resources. It is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of representatives of participating employers. The EAP of Bermuda staff will train employers how to use the service.
The Employee Assistance Programme of Bermuda was formed to assist employees with personal and work-related problems. These problems can affect or potentially affect work performance, in addition to causing distress to employees and their families. Employees get help resolving their problems, and the employer benefits by having a better adjusted and more productive employee.
