About Family Centre (The)
Purpose
To strengthen families to create a healthier Bermuda for our children.
Services
- Family Centre is an internationally accredited Bermuda charity. We provide a continuum of services that offers support from prevention to intensive intervention.
- Our Advocacy and Training services are aimed at primary prevention by changing the environment so children receive better opportunities for well-being at home, at school and in the community.
- Our Community services promote strength-building in various skills such as team-work, decision-making and leadership through youth participation in community-based groups offered through: Youth Leadership Academy and our Beyond Rugby programmes, which are based at Dellwood Middle School, CedarBridge Academy and The Berkeley Institute.
- Our Counselling services are offered island-wide to families with children between the ages of 4 and 18 years; they are offered one-on- one, as family work and in groups.
